About Tomo:
In ten years, Tomo sees herself owning a cottage in Southern California, and greeting customers each morning at her coffee shop. For now, however, that lifestyle will have to wait. Tomo is busy making a considerable impact on the international snowboarding scene. Originally from Japan, Tomo calls Mt. Bachelor in Bend, Oregon, her adopted home mountain. She is a versatile rider, equally adept in the pipe, park, big air contests, or just freeriding with friends. Like all other members of the Chorus team, she shares a passion to increase participation and awareness of girls in snowboarding. She is a guest coach at High Cascade Snowboard Camp, and she lives by the motto: “keep being yourself, and keep living your dream.” Her goals include making a video with other Japanese riders, going to the X-Games, and helping girls who want to ride. Fresh powder and good food will always get her out of bed in the morning, and of course, the funniest person she knows is Chorus teammate Leslee Olson.

Admires Most: Dave Downing, because he’s a rider/surfer, he’s always trying new stuff, and is still a nice guy.
